Here are the girls trying to hunt Easter eggs Sunday evening after we returned from our trip. Needless to say, it was way too windy to have Briley outside for long so I snapped a couple pictures of her finding her ONE egg and then we ran back into the house while Brad and Paityn finished gathering the rest of the eggs. Briley got the hang of putting them in her "pig" basket pretty easily! Ya know, I hope I haven't given her a complex or anything but she was a pig for Halloween, has a pig basket for Easter, and we are having farm animals for her 1st birthday with a HUGE pink pig balloon! HaHa! Look for our birthday pics soon. Hopefully I can get a post on her birthday! We are actually having our family over to celebrate the weekend after her actual birthday. I can't believe we are in her final days before she is one year old! Time goes by so fast!

"Our" weekend golf trip
Well, my wonderful husband booked a golf trip for us on Easter weekend so here is what the girls and I did most of the time while he was out on the golf courses - 4 different courses in three days???!!! Briley absolutely LOVED going up and down and up and down the two whole steps in our condo! I did get to sit back and relax while the kids played together and I didn't have to cook one time in three days! Wow! We ate at the country club one night and hit some fast food places plus a couple of microwave breakfasts! So, we did get to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday happenings at home but did I mention it was a GOLF trip?? What in the world was my husband thinking? - and it was in TN - not even near a beach for goodness sake! But at this time of year I'm not sure that would matter a whole lot unless we went way down south! We did get to meet some wonderful people - we love our "roomie" and new found friend who is due to have a baby boy in June! I'm already looking forward to meeting Baby Boy Andrew? (still working out the final name choice!) This is her first child so I simply offer the advice - just go with the flow and do what comes naturally! Pretty solid advice from a mom of two, don't ya think?
By the way, Briley QUICKLY learned to go backwards down the steps! She bacame a pro after three days of lots of practice!

Happy St. Patrick's Day ( a day early!)
Here is Briley preparing for a happy St. Patrick's Day by wearing Paityn's necklaces. She can actually put them on and take them off by herself - a pretty neat trick for an 11-month old I think! :-o The funniest part was when they got stuck on her hair bow! Too funny! The pictures don't show it as well as an action video would - I'm still trying to get the "youtube" thing going but I haven't figured it out yet! Maybe you'll see some video clips soon?? Enjoy!
She has also begun to hand things to people. Here she decided to hand me the necklaces after she took them all off! She's got the best "sharing" manners! :-) Love you sweet girl!

My funny girls!
Here is what I found the other day when I went to check on my girls!!!!!!!!!!!! Briley had actually started putting the swing from Paityn's dollhouse up in front of her face like a pair of glasses and then Paityn decided to give it a try! Hilarious! Briley would just laugh and laugh! I think she's gonna have a very silly, funny personality - takes after Granpa, I guess! :-) She has lots of new tricks up her sleeve! She seems to do something "new" every day! I can't believe she's almost 1 year old!
