Happy feet strikes again!

Did I tell you how much Briley LOVES her feet?? - better than food apparently! I was TRYING to feed her some squash but I guess she thinks her toes taste better. Funny Girl!!

I'm mobile! ("sorta")

Here's Briley making her first attempt to "crawl"! She is hilarious. She sticks her bottom way up in the air and somehow manages to scoot an inch or two! Yeah! It takes a lot of effort. I tried very hard to get a pic of her bottom way up high so you all could laugh at her but apparantly my camera finger just isn't fast enough!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Mom has started back to work and it's full speed ahead right now with testing and lesson plans and fall festival and getting ready for fall break!

Briley loves her big sister sooooo much! She is always touching Paityn's face and trying her best to talk to her. I wish you could hear Briley babble! Here they are hanging out in the floor spending some quality time together. They are really carrying on a very important conversation! I think Briley is wondering what Paityn's teeth are for?? HaHa!

Our New Favorite "Poses"

Here is my precious baby girl sucking her thumb! while sleeping. Yes, she loves her thumb - I've now officialy tried FOUR different brands of pacifiers indluding Avent, Soothie, Mam, and Nuk and she will not take any of them. She takes mommy's milk from an Avent bottle just fine but will NOT take a pacifier so I give up. I figure that we'll just approach weaning her from this when the time comes. She soothes herself and is so happy! She's not so much a snuggly girl when it comes to bedtime. I just put her in her crib and she sticks that thumb in and is asleep within five minutes. Sweet dreams, sweetie!

This is one of my favorite pictures ever. Briley loves to hang out on a quilt and hold on to her feet! My mom calls her "Happy Feet" and it fits her perfectly. She's not so much a feet kicking/dancing kind of penguin but her feet sure do make her happy! This picture says it all! Look at that chubby smile!

School days

Here is my Paityn heading off to kindergarten. She is such a grown up girl. She enjoyed her first week and has fallen right into the every day school routines. She picks out her own clothes and dresses herself in the morning. It is sometimes hard for her to wake up but once she is up she is fine. She has been taking two hour naps each evening though. I guess her brain gets a little tired and needs some rest!
