MY All-Star!

Here are a few pics of Paityn's very first cheerleading competition. Her squad got first place in their division - how exciting! Everyone was amazed at how well they performed in front of such a large (and very loud!) crowd. Of course, they will always have first place in their mom's eyes no matter what the "official judges" say. We had to travel to Tennessee. Paityn LOVED staying in the hotel for two nights and hanging out with her friends! We enjoyed the trip and look forward to another competition next month. I hope to get a zoom lens before the next trip so I should have some better pics! Congratulations girls - you were AWESOME!

Briley Victorious!

Briley really does love to play with her sister's new dollhouse but there are some pieces that are too small for her to have because, as we all know, everything will end up in her mouth. She kept trying to get the highchairs but there is a small spoon attached and I'm afraid it may come off. Well, after persistently telling Briley "no" maybe a million times, I turned around to get something and you can just SEE the victory on her face when I turned back around! She is holding her trophy high for all to see! I can tell that she has a lot of determination and perseverance, perhaps she will be very goal-oriented?? :-)

We went to watch Kobe play basketball and got a picture of granny & grandpa and all the kids! We love our family!

Too sweet!

I left to run a couple of errands yesterday so I took Paityn with me and left Briley with Brad. Well, I was a little anxious about it just because Brad likes to sleep right up until he goes to work and Briley has become quite an active baby, crawling around & trying to climb on everything. So, I hurried back home and found this:

Thanksgiving Indian

Here's my Thanksgiving Indian after about 30 minutes of doing some Indian dancing and using her rainstick! Hilarious! You can tell by the hair she was really giving a very energized performance!
