How sweet! Meet our newest addition to our family - WATERMELON! Yes, you read it correctly. We've gone through a pretty tough time over the past few weeks - we had to transfer our over-energetic but ever-so-loving dog to another family. Although he could NOT have gone to a better home, we miss him very much! Sooooo, I agreed to let the girls have a kitten! What in the world is wrong with me?? No house pets but, as you can see, I do let Watermelon in to visit for very short spurts in the girls' room. She lives in the garage - haven't let her roam around the neighborhood yet because she is too little right now. Most importantly, how did we get this name? Well, my Paityn has a very unique look on naming her "pets". Her first "special" stuffed animal was a rabbit, whom she named Flowery Garden. That little bunny is still in the family & she got her shen she was 2! When I asked her why did she choose Watermelon, she looked at me and simply said, (and I quote!) "I like watermelon and I like my kitten." Well, makes sense to me so the name stuck! Hilarious! She looked at me like, DUH? I love it!
